This site will give you some background on how we practice and why. We want this to be a resource for information about our unique practice, and also for background information relating to "mercury-free", "biological" or "holistic" concepts in dentistry.

Dr. Paul Rubin is one of this area’s pioneers in mercury safe dentistry, abandoning the use of mercury amalgam (“silver”) dental fillings in 1980. He has been honored as a Fellow and Master of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), Dr. Paul Rubin also is a charter member of the International Association of Mercury Free Dentists, co-founder of New Directions Dentistry, and has received several local environmental awards.
