Dr. Paul Rubin is one of this area’s pioneers in mercury safe dentistry, abandoning the use of mercury amalgam (“silver”) dental fillings in 1980. He has been honored as “Master” of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), Dr. Paul Rubin also is a charter member of the International Association of Mercury Free Dentists, co-founder of New Directions Dentistry, and has received several local environmental awards.
